In November of 2018 Bob's family and friends held a surprise "88 Is Great" birthday party that brought together almost 200 people for an afternoon of reconnecting with friends and family, and lots of music.  It was a celebration of a lifetime, with the guest of honour present - unlike a Celebration of Life where he isn't.
